Tire Amnesty Day

**Spencer County has periodic tire amnesty events for the disposal of tires; see Upcoming Events for more information.

Car tires with or without rims, tractor and truck tires will ONLY be accepted. This tire amnesty is for Spencer County Residents ONLY . NO Commercial business tires will be accepted. Due to the covid-19 you must bring your own help to unload your tires.

We can accept: (Please pre-separate your items.)

• Cardboard
• Plastic
• Newspapers and Magazines
• Tin
• Aluminum
• Scrap Metal
• Electronics and Household Appliances
• Motor Oil and Cooking Oil

We cannot accept:

• Building Materials of any type including: insulation, drywall, carpet, glass, Styrofoam, fluorescent lights
• Household garbage of any type
• Tires**
• Bubble wrap
• Plastic Grocery Bags
• Candy Wrappers of any kind
