TAYLORSVILLE-SPENCER COUNTY
JOINT PLANNING & ZONING

The Taylorsville-Spencer County Joint Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on the 1st  day of February 2024 at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time in the Fiscal Court Meeting Hall located at 28 East Main Street, Taylorsville, Kentucky.  The commission will be reviewing the following:

1. Andrew Goodlett – Requesting zone change from AG-1, agricultural to AG-2, agricultural on 5.4+/- acres located at 1751 Van Buren Road.
2. Emma Neal Chowning Estates - Requesting zone change on 11.37 acres to AG-1, agricultural and 35.06 acres to AG-2, agricultural and plat approval on 63.61 acres proposing 8 tracts at 1075 Chowning Lane.
3. Matthew R. Banks requesting a zone change from R-1, Residential to AG-1, Agricultural on approximately 5.95+/- acres located at 1326 Townhill Road.

If you wish to speak at the hearing please stop by the office and fill out a speaker’s record form prior to the hearing so you will be called upon. Forms will be available at the door.
