Applications Adopted at last meeting:
The Fiscal Court of Spencer County on the 20th day of November 2023 passed the following ORDINANCE(S):
- On motion of Esq. Cotton, second by Esq. Eldridge with all members of the court present voting “Aye”, to approve the zoning application of Denise L. Stillwell from AG-1, agricultural to AG-2, agricultural on a 6.34 acre tract of land located at 538 Dryden Road based on the recommendation and findings presented by the planning commission.
- On motion of Esq. Cotton, second by Esq. Eldridge with all members of the court present voting “Aye”, to approve the zoning application of Richard L. Lott from AG-1, agricultural to AG-2, agricultural on a 9.77 acre tract of land located at 416 Dryden Road based on the recommendation and findings presented by the planning commission.
- On motion of Esq. Travis, second by Esq. Cotton with all members of the court present voting “Aye”, to approve the zoning application of Paul & Cheryl Whitehead for Robert & Kelly Zeller from AG-1, agricultural to R-1, residential on 0.779 acres shown as Lot 92B to be consolidated with Lot 92A therefore creating Lot 92C totaling 2.223 acres located at 128 Parkers Cove based on the recommendation and findings presented by the planning commission.
- On motion of Esq. Cotton, second by Esq. Stump with all members of the court present voting “Aye”, to approve the zoning application of Ronald L. & Norena Jo Booth from AG-1, agricultural to R-3, residential on a 4.017 acre tract of land located at 931 Old Louisville Road based on the recommendation and findings presented by the planning commission with a Binding Element of no more than two single family dwellings allowed on the 4.017 acre tract

Please take notice that the Fiscal Court of Spencer County on the 5th day of February 2024 will consider the following ORDINANCE(S) for second reading and adoption:

MR Smith, Inc. Michael Morgan, Robert Smith and Shelby Jean Smith requesting a zone change from AG-1, agricultural to R-1, residential on a 47.94 acres and Preliminary Plat approval on 268.72 acres located at 1900 Whitfield Lane.
2. Robert Jones Jr & Tabitha Jones requesting a zone change from AG-1, agricultural to AG-2, agricultural on Tract 12-A consisting of 5.335 acres and AG-1, agricultural to R-3, residential on Tract 12-B consisting of 1.00 acres located at 1736 & 1760 Whitfield Lane.

Please note that Spencer County Fiscal Court meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month. The first Monday at 9 am & the third Monday at 7 pm in the Fiscal Court Meeting Hall at 28 East Main Street in Taylorsville, Kentucky.
